Road Runner Setup Instructions for Outlook Express E-mail Accounts by Jolyn Bowler
Open Outlook Express, then single left click on Tools/Accounts. When the Accounts window opens, SLC (single left click) on the Add button (on the right) to start the Internet Connection Wizard.
In the first box, type the name you want your e-mail recipients to see when you send a message. SLC on the Next button.
The next page asks for your e-mail address; ie, jlbowler@roadrunner.com. SLC on the next button.
The next page asks for the incoming mail and the outgoing smtp server information.

In the Incoming Mail Server box type: pop-server.roadrunner.com

In the outgoing mail (smtp) box type: smtp-server.roadrunner.com

Then SLC on the Next button.
The next window is the Logon Information
Type in your account name (your e-mail address without the @roadrunner.com) and your password. Be sure to click in the check box Remember Password if you don't want to have to type in your password every time you retrieve your mail. Then SLC on the Next button.
The next window will tell you that you have successfully entered all the information and you can SLC on the Finish button to complete the setup of your e-mail account.
This will then return you to your Internet Accounts window. SLC on the Close button and you'll be able to retrieve your e-mail from your roadrunner mailbox.
